Ar rahman’s next venture, Sakkarakatti is all set to release on March 2nd. For the sake of publicity cut out of Ar rahman with a guitar are seen all round Chennai. Kala Prabhu is the director of this tamil movie and his father Kalaipuli S. Dhanu is the producer. The film has been in production since April 2006. The film features Bhagyaraj’s son Shanthanu in the lead and Vedhika as his pair.
Kala Prabhu says that he spent around 2 crore for shooting a song ‘I miss you da…’ written by Na. Muthukumar in Prasad studio, Chennai. A huge set that depicts how the city of New York would look after 500 years has been constructed at huge cost for this song. Shanthanu and Vedhika are dancing along with 10 gorgeous French models in this song.
